Strawberry season is upon us. I decided to drive out to Sauvie Island, pick some berries and make some fresh jam.
I didn't mean to match my shirt to the strawberries. So about the whinin'. The jam turned out great but somehow none of the jars sealed, even when I reprocessed them. So I have many quite tasty jars of strawberry far in my fridge and freezer.
i used to make fresh jam with my mom after picking waay too many strawberries at a strawberry picking. so goood! :)
